Update to Application for Naturalization Form N-400
Citizenshipworks Version 2.3
August 1, 2016
We are happy to announce that Citizenshipworks has been updated to produce the latest version of the Naturalization Application Form N-400. This announcement explains how this change may affect you.
If You Already Completed, Printed and Mailed Your Application:
If you printed your application using Citizenshipworks and mailed it before August 1, 2016, you do not need to reprint a new application at this time. The form that you already printed using Citizenshipworks is still valid and accepted by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
If You Have Not Yet Printed and Filed Your Application:
If you have not yet printed and filed your application, all of your answers are still saved to your account and will show up in the new application form. Nearly all of the questions on the new version of the form are the same. However you may need to answer a few new questions, including:
- Your weight
- Information about when your parents became a U.S. citizen (if applicable)
When you log in to your Citizenshipworks account, you can go to the Application section, click on Review and click on Incomplete Questions to see if you need to provide additional information to complete your application.
If you are enrolled with a Citizenshipworks partner organization and an advocate has manually edited your form, you will need to contact your advocate and ask them to update your application to make sure your application is complete.
